A bit of colour on a very 'white' day...

Well we've had alot of snow here today and I was stuck at work, wishing I was at home in the warmth with my family.  My gorgeous husband had cooked a lovely roast dinner for when I got home and after settling the boys to bed I had a little 'me' time in my craft room.

With an endless stream of party invitations, I have a long list of cards to make, this is the first.

I am entering this card into the Friday Sketchers Challenge - No.130
and also the Basic Grey Challenge - No.34 which was to follow a recipe of;
4 different types of Embellishments (Ribbon, Card Candy, Flower, Charm with Brad)
3 Different Patterned Papers
1-2 Images and/or Sentiments

Papers: 1 neutral patterned paper from Basics Manilla paper pad by Basic Grey and 2 different pink patterned papers from Sweet Floral by Colorbok.  Plain matting card by American Crafts.
Image: Hanglar Stanglar coloured with Promarkers
Border Punch: Martha Stewart Lace Love Hearts
Flower: Made using EK Success punches
Card Candy: by Craftwork Cards
Charm & Brad: From my stash
Ribbon: From my stash
Papers and Flower edged with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink and Fruit Punch Stickles

Thanks for looking
